Glendale Elks Lodge #1289 will hold its annual Hoop Shoot Free Throw contest this Sunday, Nov. 20 starting at 11:30 a.m.  The event will be held at the Rosemont Middle School gym located at 4725 Rosemont Ave. in La Crescenta. The competition is free and open to children ages 8-13 who live in the local Glendale area.

Participants will shoot 25 free throws with the winners qualifying for District level in January. Winners could continue to advance to state, regional, and the national finals in Chicago in April.
