5100 La Cañada Boulevard in La Cañada, a package that had been placed on a front porch was stolen. The security footage revealed a man wearing a black hoodie sweater with “FIRE” printed on the backside, black pants, white socks and black shoes approached the front door of the residence, grabbed the package and left. He was seen getting into a waiting vehicle via the driver’s side and drove out of camera view at 4:43 p.m.
5200 Pizzo Ranch Road in La Cañada, an informant reported witnessing a suspect stealing jewelry during an open house at the location. The male was seen on security footage entering the residence during an open house event and stealing items from jewelry boxes on shelves in the home’s closet. The suspect is described as a male White, about 50 years old, about 6’ tall and weighing about 210 lbs. At the time he was wearing a blue sweater, dark blue pants, black shoes and sunglasses.
The theft occurred between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
1300 block of Journeys End Drive in La Cañada, an informant reported that a package was stolen from her front porch. Security footage revealed a male wearing a black hoodie sweater with “FIRE” printed on the backside, black pants, white socks and black shoes. The man walked to the door of the home, grabbed the package and left the area at 11:25 a.m.

5100 block of Crown Avenue in La Cañada, an informant reported that she witnessed a White male leaving her neighbor’s property carrying two Amazon boxes. She yelled at the suspect from her driveway but he did not respond. He continued to walk northbound and got into the passenger side of a white pickup truck that was driven by another suspect described as a White male.
The vehicle drove out of view at 2 p.m.
Dec. 12
500 block of Castle Road in La Cañada Flintridge, a catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle. A resident reported hearing a sound coming from outside the front of his house. He went outside and witnessed a male suspect he described as Hispanic, wearing a white hoody and dark colored pants, underneath his vehicle. A second suspect, described as a male Hispanic wearing all dark colored clothing, stood near the resident’s vehicle. The resident yelled at the suspects who then ran toward a white Hyundai sedan. Both suspects entered the back seat of the vehicle as a third male suspect drove away.
The incident occurred at 5:48 a.m.
Dec. 10
700 block of Forest Green Drive in La Cañada Flintridge, a golf bag and clubs were stolen from the trunk of an unlocked vehicle. Security footage revealed a vehicle parked in front of the victim’s residence. A suspect exited the vehicle, opened the unlocked trunk, took the golf bag and clubs from the resident’s vehicle, placed it in the suspect’s vehicle and drove away at 3:48 a.m.
Dec. 7
Ladybug Canyon and Angeles Crest Highway in Angeles National Forest, a man reported he had parked and secured his vehicle in the parking area. He then went on a hike and about 10 minutes later he heard his vehicle’s alarm activate. He immediately went back to his vehicle and noticed the driver’s side front door lock had been punched. He found that a backpack containing several items was missing.
The theft occurred at 10:30 a.m.
Dec. 5
4900 block of Rupert Lane in La Cañada Flintridge, personal information was stolen from a vehicle overnight.
4100 block of Hampstead Road in La Cañada Flintridge, deputies responded to the location on Dec. 10 concerning a fraud report. The victim stated that he had received an email concerning a new credit card account that had been opened in his name on Dec. 5. He did not authorize a new account. The report was made at noon.
