3900 block of Community Avenue in Glendale, a man reported that after being gone for only a few hours he had returned to find every room in his home ransacked, several items missing and the front door, which had been locked, standing open. Police found a pillow case that contained a small jewelry box and several pieces of jewelry lying near the front door. According to the police report, from where the items were found a suspect could easily view anyone pulling into the home’s driveway. The burglary occurred between 10 a.m. and 2:20 p.m.

5500 block of Godbey Drive in La Cañada, the side front and rear windows were shattered on a vehicle parked in the parking lot of the La Cañada Flintridge Country Club between 2:10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

Oct. 11

1900 block of Verdugo Boulevard in La Cañada, the front passenger window was smashed and a baseball bag and iPod were stolen from a vehicle parked in the parking lot of United Artists Theater between 8 p.m. and 9:45 p.m.

4600 block of Crown Avenue in La Cañada, jewelry was stolen from a home between the hours of 5:40 p.m. and 7:20 p.m.

Oct. 10

Foothill Boulevard and La Cañada Boulevard in La Cañada, a woman reported that as she was at Memorial Park with her children, her iPhone was stolen. She apparently had put the phone down by the slide, out of her sight and when she returned it was gone at 5 p.m.
