International Competition in Houston

Recently the All-Girls Robotics FTC Team 25 from Pasadena advanced to the world championships in Houston. The team played 11 matches against multiple teams and received helpful feedback on their outreach and connections from the FIRST judges. There were a total 190 FTC teams that came to Houston from all over the world that were then divided into four divisions.

FTC Team 25 worked and collaborated with those teams and shared the knowledge and experience in the robot build and design process. The team attended the Innovation Fair where they made connections to many universities offering STEM majors. The team also connected with companies that provide innovative robotics engineering. The team members attended multiple conferences and sessions hosted by industry leaders and FIRST volunteers where they learned ways to improve robot design techniques, outreach and fundraising opportunities and pursue the college path by sharing their FIRST competition journey.
