Crescenta Valley Water District crews responded to a water main break on the southwest corner of Foothill Boulevard and La Cañada Plaza Road.

The break caused a waterspout to shoot into the air. Los Angeles Sheriff’s Dept.-Crescenta Valley Station received several calls about 2:04 p.m. and temporarily blocked traffic on Foothill Boulevard until water crews arrived.

As of 3 p.m. on Wednesday it did not appear that any customers experienced service interruption.
