The Brand Associates Music Series for fall 2023 completes its concert run on Nov. 9. The concert is on Thursday night, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. in the Brand Library Recital Hall, 1601 W. Mountain St. in Glendale. The series is sponsored by the Brand Associates (AssociatesofBrand.org). The performances are free and open to the public. Seating is limited. 

On Nov. 9 Violist Daniel Miles and pianist Cameron Akioka will be performing music of Brahms, York Bowen, Florence Price and William Grant Still. Miles is a graduate of Oberlin Conservatory and a grad student at USC and most recently won the 2023 Beverly Hills Auditions.

Akioka is a graduate of Rice University and a grad student at USC and won both the silver medal and audience favorite award at the 2022 Seattle International Piano Competition.
