Operation Green Light for Veterans campaign is an annual opportunity for Los Angeles County residents to recognize the sacrifices of U.S. veterans and their family members by illuminating homes and public buildings in green from Nov. 6 – Nov. 12. 

The shining of a green light is intended to spark a national conversation to ensure that service members who have returned from active duty military service are aware and have access to support services available to them. The goal is also to highlight local county governments’ ongoing commitment to assist veterans with the difficult transition into civilian life.
