According to Coach Mark Evans, “Camarillo gave us a chance to see some schools we don’t normally compete against.

“I thought we competed quite well. Brennen Hicklin had a good jump at 11-6 in the vault. Parker ran well in the 100 and 200. Our boys 400 relay competed well. Mike Duncan and Matt Williams ran well in the 800 with Matt getting a big PR in 2:05. On the girls side Tiernan had a good 400 race finishing third and is getting stronger. Anneke ran well in the 300 hurdles. It is unusual to hurdle and run distance.

She usually works one day on the hurdles while the others are on a recovery run. She would like to run the steeplechase in college so the hurdle work is nice preparation.”
