Earlier this month, St. James students participated in the annual Academic Decathlon at the Los Angeles Sports Arena. There are 220 schools in the archdiocese and 104 competed in the decathlon. There are two main elements of the competition: the Superquiz and the subject area tests. St. James team placed eighth overall in the Superquiz and 28th overall.
