Feb. 17

3000 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, while at work a cashier and his coworker reported witnessing a female, Suspect 1, enter the location and walk toward the alcohol section of the store. The witnesses observed a man, Suspect 2, stand by the front door of the location. The witnesses recognized Suspect 2 as a man from a previous unreported theft at the store. The employee told Suspect 2 he was not allowed in the store; another suspect, Suspect 3, was standing next to Suspect 2 at the time. Suspect 2 yelled something to Suspect 1. Suspect 1 grabbed a case of alcoholic beverages and ran out the front door without paying.

Suspect 1 was described as a White female, about 17 years old, 4’11” tall with a slim build and short black hair and at the time wearing a light blue jacket and white shorts. Suspect 2 was described as a Hispanic male, about 22 years old, 5’9” tall with a slim build and short black hair and at the time wearing a black jacket and black pants. Suspect 3 was described as a Hispanic male, about 20 years old, 5’9” tall with a slim build and short black hair and at the time wearing a light blue jacket.

The theft occurred at 3:05 a.m.

 

Feb. 16

4700 block of Alminar Avenue in La Cañada Flintridge, a man who was gardening in the backyard of a home reported that a coworker told him that he witnessed two male adult Hispanics steal a tool from the bed of the victim’s work truck. The truck had a camper shell and was open and unlocked at the time. The suspects reportedly entered a white Toyota Sequoia after stealing the tool and drove away.

The theft occurred at 2:44 p.m.

 

Feb. 15

800 block of Greenridge Drive in La Cañada Flintridge, a resident reported hearing a window shatter downstairs at her home. At the same time she heard an unknown person attempting to open the door to her master bedroom, which was locked. The resident began shouting from inside the bedroom for the suspect to leave. The resident heard what sounded like two people running away from the residence. Deputies were called and discovered a glass door had been shattered.

The attempted burglary occurred at 6:45 p.m.

 

Feb. 12

2700 block of Rock Pine Lane in La Crescenta, deputies responded to a call regarding a petty theft at the location. A resident reported that a stroller was stolen that had been left in the residential driveway. Surveillance footage revealed that an “older model” coupe with no front license plate pulled over in front of the victim’s home. The suspects’ vehicle was parked toward the surveillance camera. Suspect 1 was described as a Black male, about 6’ tall, weighing 170 lbs. who at the time was wearing a blue sweater with a UCLA log on it and black pants. Suspect 1 had a dreadlock hairstyle. Suspect 1 exited the vehicle from the front passenger side and casually walked to the victim’s driveway, took the baby stroller and returned to the front passenger seat while carrying the stroller in his hands.

Suspect 2, the driver, was wearing a red T-shirt; no other description was released.
