After a three-year hiatus, Dignity Health – Glendale Memorial Hospital & Health Center is proud to celebrate its 26th Annual “King and Queen of Hearts” event.
As part of Heart Month, the hospital will hold a special celebration that will include free screenings, free lectures, free heart-healthy food and the presentation of the King and Queen of Hearts (community members who have worked hard to get their hearts in shape after being diagnosed with heart disease). Over 200 people are expected to attend.
The event takes place on Thursday, Feb. 29 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center, Cardiac Fitness Center, 2nd Floor, 1420 S. Central Ave. in Glendale.
From 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. there will be health screenings and education booths. Guest physician speakers will be speaking throughout the morning on a variety of subjects including stroke prevention and treatment and peripheral vascular disease: detection and treatment.
State of the Heart 2024 will be presented followed by the presentation and crowning of the kings and queens.
