Sharon Christine Stockton passed away on Feb. 25. She was born July 14, 1946 in Los Angeles to the late Homer Stockton and Elsa Meineke. Mr. and Mrs. Stockton were WWII veterans.
Sharon was a graduate of Eagle Rock High School and received an associate’s degree in business from Miller-Motte Technical College in Clarksville, Tennessee.
She had a brother, Thomas Stockton, who was also a California native.
Sharon spent 20 years in Tennessee and many asked where she was from based on her unusual blended accent. She raised a family and later returned to California to care for her parents.
She is survived by her son Mike Allison (La Crescenta); daughter Camille Allison and son-in-law Jeff Tomlin (Clarksville); and grandson Noah Steele (Clarksville). She also leaves behind her sweet cat, Houdini.
Sharon worked many places including Graybar Electric, American Optical, Jostens Yearbook Co. and Jenkins & Wynne. She was the administrative assistant at Modern Parking Inc. and Maury Abrams LLC.
Sharon was an animal lover and she volunteered at the Los Angeles Zoo. She enjoyed reading and had an extensive library. She played piano and was a wonderful cook. She was a lifetime crafter, particularly enjoying quilting and crocheting. She was an expert seamstress. She loved to garden and travel. She was a Christian and well loved by everyone.
