On Saturday, Dec. 16, 2023 at approximately 10 a.m., Glendale patrol officers responded to reports of a hit-and-run collision at the intersection of Lexington Drive and Columbus Avenue in Glendale. The victim, identified as a 76-year-old Glendale resident, was found by officers down in the street. Despite immediate life-saving measures and transportation to Los Angeles County USC Hospital, she succumbed to her injuries.
As a result of a diligent investigation, Glendale police detectives determined that the incident was not an accident but a robbery. The perpetrators, aged 14, 15 and 16, were arrested by Glendale police detectives for felony murder. All three suspects were transported to the Glendale City Jail where they remain in custody.

This case will be presented to the District Attorney’s Office for filing.
