As April draws to a close, the Montrose Verdugo Chamber of Commerce takes a moment to reflect on the highlights and accomplishments of the past month. From celebrating grand openings to supporting community initiatives, April has been a month filled with excitement, generosity and opportunities to connect with our amazing community.

First and foremost, we extend our congratulations to NOA Health on the occasion of their grand opening ribbon-cutting ceremony. It was a great event as we welcomed this valuable addition to our business community. NOA Health’s commitment to providing quality acupuncture services will undoubtedly enrich the lives of residents in Montrose and beyond. We look forward to supporting their continued success and growth in the years to come.

In the spirit of community involvement, we are thrilled to announce our participation in the Glendale Fire Department Jr Firefighter program’s upcoming picnic. Taking place this Friday, May 3, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Verdugo Park in Glendale, this event promises to be a fun-filled afternoon of activities and camaraderie. We are honored to lend our support to this important program, which fosters leadership skills and instills a sense of responsibility in our youth.

On the academic front, the deadline for the MVCC scholastic scholarships has passed, and we are now in the process of selecting three deserving awardees. These scholarships will be presented at our July mixer, which will be held at Jenkins Properties on 7/18/24, stay tuned for more information.

As we look ahead to the remainder of May and beyond, we are excited to invite everyone to join us for J’s 55th Anniversary Fiesta. Taking place on Thursday, May 30, from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. This event promises to be a festive celebration of community, culture and the enduring legacy of J’s Maintenance, which has seen continued success for over five decades. So, please mark your calendars and join us for an evening of music, food and fun as we honor this remarkable milestone.

In conclusion, May has been a month of milestones and community engagement for the Montrose Verdugo Chamber of Commerce. From celebrating new business beginnings to supporting educational initiatives and hosting events, we remain committed to serving the interests of our members and fostering a thriving business community. We look forward to continuing our journey together and creating even more memorable moments in the coming months.
