The sheriff’s station that serves the City of La Cañada Flintridge and La Crescenta are ramping up efforts to keep local neighborhoods safe. It is doing this by preventing residential burglaries by increasing patrols. This will help ensure the security and well-being of everyone.

Residents will see more uniformed patrols in local neighborhoods. The deputies will be looking for suspicious activity that could be linked to burglary crews. They will be conducting vacation checks, investigating suspicious activity and conducting traffic stops when appropriate. Over the coming weeks, the station will also be conducting a public safety campaign via social media to give residents tips on preventing and reporting crime. This multi-point approach is geared among the station, the city and the community to stop crime and safely apprehend the criminals involved.
