McGroarty Arts Center in Tujunga presents its 20th consecutive ceramics exhibition and benefit All Cups 2024 that features work by 35 Southern California ceramic artists. In addition, the exhibition will feature a showcase of work by students of the Center’s ceramic arts educational program.
This year’s exhibition, curated by ceramicist and teacher Ray Yocum, will focus only on handcrafted cups, highlighting the way this talented group of individuals have taken what most people view as a simple utilitarian object and elevated it to fine art. With creativity and skill, the artists have imbued each cup selected for this exhibition with an element of grace, character, elegance and, some would say, soul.
The exhibition will be open for viewing Monday through Saturday through June 21 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in McGroarty Arts Center’s main hall and upstairs gallery. Docents will be in attendance to assist those who wish to purchase featured pieces. All proceeds will benefit the center’s ongoing community arts programs.
McGroarty Arts Center is located at 7570 McGroarty Terrace in Tujunga. For more information, visit: www.mcgroartyartscenter.org.
