The Glendale Chapter of National Charity League Inc. will hold its 18th annual “From the Heart” American Red Cross Blood Drive on Sunday, June 23 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. It will be held at the USC Verdugo Hills Hospital at 1812 Verdugo Blvd. in Glendale in Council Rooms A-D. Members of the community are encouraged to make an appointment to donate by emailing nclglendalefromtheheart@gmail.com or by signing up for this drive on the American Red Cross website at redcross.org and entering sponsor code “nclglendale.” All donors will receive a $15 e-gift card after the event. Donors are also treated to homemade cookies and treats made by the mother and daughter chapter members.
