The world’s largest touring public elephant art exposition is a first for Los Angeles. It includes 25 elephant statues at high traffic Burbank landmarks. The “herd” is led by Mahua, designed by Los Angeles artist Chariya Bissonnette. Mahue can be found near Ben & Jerry’s on the AMC Walkway in Downtown Burbank.

Visitors to Burbank’s AMC Walkway find baby elephant statues among their favorite restaurants and movies.

Elephant Parade is aimed at promoting elephant conservation by way of the life-sized baby elephant statues. They have been designed by more than 1,700 artists, each contributing their work. In total, 2,000 elephant statues have been created. Tours began in 2007 and include locations such as London, Singapore, Hong Kong and Dubai. Elephant Parade reached Las Vegas in 2022.

One of 25 baby elephant statues in Burbank has been created to promote elephant protection and conservation. The exhibition runs through Aug. 31.

The exhibition is funded and initiated by “Visit Burbank” and runs through Aug. 31.
