It was an afternoon tea to celebrate Mother’s Day at the La Crescenta Library on May 7. The tea has become a tradition with the library thanks to Marta Wiggins, library manager. Inspired by her mother’s imaginative stories and sense of fun, Wiggins and her staff decorated the library’s community room as an inviting tearoom. Moms, grandmothers, aunts and friends enjoyed a tea, crafts and story telling. The next tea scheduled is in December.
