5200 block of Gould Avenue in La Cañada, cash was stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight.
Oct. 17
2100 block of Montrose Avenue in Montrose, the rear plastic window was cut and a vehicle was ransacked between 1 a.m. and 4:40 a.m.
1900 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, the driver’s side rear window was smashed and a purse was stolen from a vehicle while parked in the YMCA parking lot.
1800 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a digital camera and purse were stolen from a vehicle between 10:30 a.m and 11:30 a.m.

2600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, a witness reported seeing two apparent teenagers walk out of Ralphs Market. According to the report, the two suspects walked up to the front of the store holding cases of beer, passing several manned cash registers without attempting to pay and then ran out of the store at 2:55 p.m.
Oct. 15
3100 Altura Avenue in La Crescenta, a book bag was stolen and rear passenger door window was damaged on a vehicle overnight.
4400 block of Union Street La Cañada, a nail gun and impact drill was stolen from a garage between Oct. 8 and 15.
4900 Viro Road in La Cañada, a duffle bag was stolen and the passenger side front window was shattered on a vehicle overnight.
Oct. 14
2700 block of Harmony Place in La Crescenta, the glass pane window of a front door was broken and the rear sliding door of a residence was shattered. According to the report, the homeowners had been away from their residence for a few days, however there was a person who had been checking on the home. She reportedly told deputies that she found the front door window broken but the door was still locked with a dead bolt. Deputies found the homeowner’s barbeque near the sliding glass door with several shards of glass on the grill. It may have been used to break the door and gain entry into the home. Several rooms had been ransacked and a video camera was reported stolen at the time of the report. The incident occurred between Oct. 13-14.
Oct. 14
500 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a women allegedly entered the Bank of America and asked for assistance regarding a cash advance. While assisting the woman, the bank manager requested identification, and she complied. According to the report, the manager immediately realized the woman on the identification and the person requesting the cash advance was not the same person. While the manager contacted the CV Sheriff’s Station, the woman left the bank. The owner of the stolen identity was contacted; she reportedly had her purse stolen from a Vons in Pasadena and was in the process of filing a police report. The suspect is described as white, 5’7”, 120 lb. wearing a dark blue pinstripe suit.
500 block of Hillard Avenue in La Cañada, a global positioning system, cash and iPod car adapter were stolen from a locked vehicle overnight.
5200 block of La Cañada Boulevard in La Cañada, the front door window pane was shattered, several rooms were ransacked and a jewelry box was stolen from a home between 1:45 p.m. and 2:09 p.m.
