Local Shelters, Vets Team Up for Microchip Madness Month
During the months of June, July, and August, animal shelters in Los Angeles and Orange County are inundated with lost pets. To ensure that lost pets are returned to their owners, Southern California Veterinary Medical Association (SCVMA) veterinarians and animal shelters advocate the placement of a microchip in all pets.
On Saturday, June 11 from 9 a.m. to noon, Crescenta Valley Veterinary Hospital will be microchipping pets for a fee of $15.
