Kristin Darling of La Cañada recently graduated from Allegheny College. Darling received a bachelor’s degree in English-creative writing with a minor in astronomy.

Gettysburg College students with a quality point average of 3.33 or higher for a semester’s work are placed on the Deans’ Commendation List. The following students have been placed on the spring 2011 list: Sophomore Daniel Gordon and first year student Natalie Sherif,
both from La Cañada.

The following La Cañada residents were among 548 students who made the Dean’s Honor List at California Lutheran University for the fall semester:

George Fleming is majoring in marketing communication.

Brittany Johnson is majoring in business administration.

Daniel Mock is majoring in economics.

Conner Rothe is majoring in environmental science.

Douglas Drugan is majoring in criminal justice and English.

Students qualify for the Dean’s List by maintaining a 3.6 grade point average in their academic subjects.
