The 4th of July weekend is coming up and it’s time to celebrate! The Crescenta Valley Fireworks Association will be having its annual fireworks show along with music, food, games and rides. The event will be held at the La Crescenta Elementary School playground, 4343 La Crescenta Ave. The main entrance will be off of Prospect Avenue just west of La Crescenta Ave. in La Crescenta. Tickets are just $5.

The gates will open at 4 p.m. – the music will be starting, the rides running, the food cooking and everyone will be arriving to watch fireworks. The gates will close at 8:30 p.m., so be sure to arrive in plenty of time, and then shortly after 9 p.m. the fireworks begin – right on cue with the rockets red glare and a 15-plus minute show lights up the sky. We hope you enjoyed last year’s event and we look forward to another great year in 2011. Please let us know how we can make this an even better event for our community.
