The La Crescenta Tournament Team rounded out its 2011 tournament season taking second place at Big League Dreams in West Covina. The team won three out of four games (mercying two of their opponents), but came up short in the championship match against Fountain Valley.
The boys who played baseball in the CSA organization this past spring only began playing as a tournament team two months ago. Their camaraderie and team mentality made it seem as though they had played together much longer, however.
The boys had 21 wins and six losses through seven tournaments and four scrimmages finishing in first place twice and second place twice.
