Car Wash Fundraiser to Benefit Lady Falcons
The CV Lady Falcons Basketball Booster Club is holding a car wash fundraiser on Saturday, July 30 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The community is encouraged to support the ladies basketball program by coming to the Verdugo City Chevron, 2817 Honolulu Ave., at the corner of Verdugo City La Crescenta and Honolulu avenues to have their car washed. Suggested donation is $5 and current CV players will be washing cars as well as conducting a bake sale.

College Workshop this Sunday
Students are invited to attend the La Cañada Thursday Club’s upcoming college admission workshop “In 500 Words or Less” on Sunday, July 31 from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Participants will join local high school college counselors and educators for an interactive panel discussion following the viewing of the documentary “In 500 Words or Less.”
