An armed man entered the T-Mobile store in the 3700 block of Foothill Boulevard, ordered employees and customers on the ground and then left.
Glendale police responded to a call of a man with a gun at the mobile phone store on Monday at about 6 p.m. When they arrived the man had fled the area.
Two employees and two customers were in the store when the suspect, described as 6-foot tall, medium build, wearing a black hat, blue flannel shirt and a blue bandana over his face, came in. According to both T-Mobile employees, the man entered the store and allegedly pointed a silver handgun at them. He told everyone to lie on the ground, which they did. They did not get a good look at him.
They remained on the floor until the suspect left the building. One of the employees went outside and saw the suspect running east on Foothill Boulevard.
Nothing appeared to be taken from the store. The two customers had left the building before police were able to interview them.
