Several community members took advantage of the e-waste drop off center set up by the Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce on Saturday. Electronic waste of all sorts, from old televisions to computers, was dropped off at the Chamber’s parking lot.
The chamber sponsors the e-waste drop off event twice a year. Items were packaged, packed into a truck and hauled away by Global E-Waste Recycling center. Volunteers like Kevin Backes, a sophomore at Crescenta Valley High School, helped make it easy for residents to drop off their e-waste.
