A 66-year-old man was found dead in a pick-up truck early Thursday morning parked at the corner of Lowell and Altura avenues.

The man was discovered parked in front of a home. The homeowner called 911 upon discovery of the man who was unresponsive. Glendale Fire Department responded and pronounced the man deceased at 8:49 a.m.

“Preliminary [investigation] appears the man died of natural causes,” said Glendale police Sgt. Tom Lorenz

Yellow police tape surrounded the truck parked in the 4300 block of Lowell Avenue.

Lorenz said the man appears to be from the area.
