Remembering 9-11

Our Crescenta Valley community is doing a moment of remembrance for

September 11th at Two Strike Park this Sunday . . . 8:15 am until 8:46 am

(the moment the 1st plane hit the World Trade Center tower).

We will have people from all walks of community life . . . including

the Armenian community, the Korean community, the VFW and American Legion,

Scouts, CV Town Council, Chamber of Commerce, and Crescenta Valley

residents, etc., etc. to observe a simple but meaningful tribute to

September 11, 2001.

The morning will end with a moment of silence (a circle holding hands if

possible) followed by “Taps” on a bugle.

There will be no speeches but we encourage people to speak their feelings

and remembrances of that day.

Please pass the word . . . this is our community’s way to remember. Flowers

will be accepted and laid at the Two Strike Memorial flag pole . . . we will

take them to our County Fire Stations later that day as a way to thank our

courageous fire fighters.

Please alert your organizations members and ask them to join us Sunday

morning.
