600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, a 47-year-old Tujunga woman was arrested after she exited the TJ Maxx with items and did not attempt to pay for them at 6 p.m.

Aug. 26
Angeles Crest Highway, mile marker 34.14, the driver’s side window was shattered and the side of the vehicle was dented while it was parked at Switzer’s Falls. The vehicle owner had left the car in the parking lot while hiking between 9:30 a.m. and 3:15 p.m.
Angeles Crest Highway, mile marker 34.14, the front passenger window was smashed and a make-up bag was stolen from a vehicle while parked at Switzer’s Falls. The car owner had parked the vehicle in the parking lot while hiking between 11:30 a.m. and 3:15 p.m.
Angeles Crest Highway, mile marker 34.14, the front passenger window was smashed and iPhone, phone charger, cellphone, backpack and a global positioning system were stolen from a vehicle parked at Switzer’s Falls. The car owner had parked the vehicle in the parking lot while hiking between 11 a.m. and 3:15 p.m.
Montrose and Mira Vista avenues in Montrose, a 31-year-old man and a 27-year-old man. both from Altadena, were stopped at a routine traffic stop. Deputies found the driver had an expired license. After an investigation, credit cards that were not in the name of the driver or passenger were allegedly found under the driver’s seat of the vehicle. Plastic shopping bags from Ross were found with several items of clothing were found in the trunk. It was found the owner of the cards did not know the men and had not given anyone permission to use his cards. Further, it was found the cards were used for purchases presumably while in the men’s possession. The men were arrested. At the time of the arrest the 27-year-old man’s young son was in the vehicle. The arrest occurred at 11:52 a.m.

Aug. 25

4300 block of Ocean View Boulevard in Montrose, deputies responded to a disturbance call to a home. When they arrived, they were told by family members that the a 21-year-old man living in the home was under the influence of heroin. He allegedly told deputies he had ingested narcotics and had recently smoked heroin.
He was arrested at 8:25 p.m.
