First Baptist at La Crescenta to Participate in National ‘Back To Church Sunday’
“Back To Church Sunday,” part of a national movement of churches across America, will be held at La Crescenta First Baptist Church at 10:45 a.m. on Sunday. Everyone is welcome to attend.
National “Back To Church Sunday” (www.backtochurch.com) is an initiative that seeks to reach the “un-churched” – and “de-churched” – people who once attended church, but don’t any more, and invite them to return for a special Sunday.
At First Baptist, “Back to Church Sunday” has been an opportunity to kick off the church’s fall ministries and to invite the community to visit. According to Pastor Bill Flanders, the worship team has worked hard to make this a special service, and the entire staff has been working to prepare for this special event.
The church is planning a picnic-style lunch after the service and all are invited to attend.
