The Los Angeles County coroner responded at the request of the CV Sheriff’s Station to determine the origins of bones discovered in Angeles National Forest Monday night. The bones were found by a person in the area who called the CV station to report the discovery. The coroner was called in early to assist with the investigation.
“The Coroner’s office went out to Big Tujunga area and recovered human bones. They are still determining age and sex,” said Det. Sam Dendekker, L.A. Sheriff’s Homicide division.
