A 36-year-old La Crescenta woman was arrested for suspicion of possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia after an investigation at 7-Eleven on Tuesday night.
At about 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Glendale police officers saw the woman who appeared to be under the influence of drugs. According to the police report, the woman is known to be a narcotics user.
The woman appeared agitated when officers approached her; she agreed to step outside the store to speak with police. She walked outside to the parking lot and sat in the passenger seat of a vehicle that was parked against the north wall of the location.
She reportedly told the officers the vehicle belonged to her friend who is also an alleged narcotics user.
The woman agreed to a search of her person. The investigation resulted in police finding a container with multiple small pills, a glass pipe that is a type commonly used by methamphetamine users. The woman allegedly admitted the pills and pipe belonged to her.
Five of the pills were found to be Oxycodone, the other 22 pills were found to be Clonazepam.
