VHH to Hold Free Medicare Educational Seminar

As a community service to all the Baby Boomers coming into the Medicare system and for those seniors already on Medicare, Verdugo Hills Hospital (VHH) will be providing a free Medicare educational seminar, “Turning 65.”

The seminar will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 2 from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the hospital’s Council Room, located on the fourth floor lobby. The seminar will help new Medicare patients with their questions about benefits and types of health plans available to them.

Various topics will be discussed including the basics of Medicare, prescription drug plans, Medicare Advantage plans and Medicare supplement plans. Attendees will also receive a tour of the hospital’s cardiac rehab and fitness gym, and learn about the senior programs offered at VHH. The event is for educational purposes only and no plan-specific benefits or details will be discussed. Lunch will be served.

To RSVP, call (818) 952-2227.

VHH is located at 1812 Verdugo Blvd., Glendale.
