Sept. 30, 1920 – Nov. 4, 2011

Long time La Crescenta resident Marjorie Eleanor Sowles passed away on Nov. 4 in Reno, Nev. She was born on Sept. 30, 1920 in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada.

She was preceded in death by her husband Darwin Sowles and her granddaughter Lindsey Sowles. She is survived by her daughter Sydney Gray and husband Larry of Reno; son Steven Sowles and wife Deborah of Snowmass Village, Colo.; granddaughter Julie Thomas and husband Aaron of Sparks, Nev.; granddaughter Laura Clark of Reno; granddaughter Heather Luna and husband Juan of Virginia Beach, Va.; and grandson Aaron Sowles and wife, Elizabeth of Indio, Calif. She also leaves five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
