Opening in August of this year, Glenoaks Imaging Professionals has already established itself as a premier imaging center, attracting some of the most well known physicians in Glendale, La Cañada, Burbank and Los Angeles. Located on Glenoaks Boulevard, Glenoaks Imaging Professionals provides services for the entire Los Angeles region.

The center possesses a combined 30 years of medical experience, incorporating clinical instructors and trained administrative staff. GIP offers a variety of different services, such as MRIs, bone density scans and ultrasounds. They hope to also add CT scans to their list of services in the near future.

Where GIP sees itself, as differing from the norm, is in their dedication to both the doctors they work with and the patients they serve. They pride themselves on providing their doctors with the most information possible and with the most efficiency possible, thereby allowing for fast, reliable and accurate reports. Hand delivery of medical documents and images and ready access to those documents through the GIP website are two ways in which GIP tries to create a smoother working relationship with their referring physicians.

“Any referring physician can log onto our network and access images and reports anytime through the Internet,” said company president Rubik Khosrovyan. “Our staff trains the doctor and staff at no cost.”

GIP also works to customize their reports for their doctors, formatting them in the way each particular doctor likes in order to ensure quicker and more efficient service for their customers. Khosrovyan feels this sets GIP apart from other imaging centers in its face-to-face presence with its doctors. Khosrovyan went on to praise the doctors who work close with GIP.

“As a new business, to attract [the doctors] and know that they’ve said to us, ‘Wow, your images are amazing,’ we know we’re headed somewhere great.”

GIP is also a teaching facility that works with radiology training programs such as CSUN and West Coast Institute. Students come to the center for their clinical instruction and gain hands-on experience as well.

“We also accept internship programs for students who are in the process of completing their program,” said Khosrovyan, who also works as a clinical instructor.

Despite being a new business in the area, Khosrovyan is confident in GIP’s abilities to offer the best services and care, citing his many years in the field.

“After working at imaging centers for years, we know what not to do.”
