Crescenta Valley High School boys’ and girls’ basketball will host their annual Falcon Classic Tournament next week.
CV boys will host several local teams from Dec. 5 to Dec. 9 for three games per day for four days culminating with four games for the finals on Dec. 9. Game times Dec. 5 through Dec. 8 are 4 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. The final games on Dec. 9 are 3:15 p.m., 4:45 p.m., 6:15 p.m. and 7:45 p.m.
The cost is $7 for adults, $5 for students and $2 for children.
There is also a toy drive during the tournament, so attendees are encouraged to bring a new unwrapped toy that will put a smile on the face of a less fortunate child. Contributions to the toy drive are greatly appreciated.
The CV Lady Falcon basketball tournament started on Tuesday and continues through Saturday, Dec. 3. Competing varsity high school teams will be from Simi Valley, Verdugo Hills, Whittier, Louisville, Golden Valley, West Ranch, Notre Dame, Grant, Thousand Oaks, La Cañada and Village Christian. CV will play Wednesday at 7:45 p.m. and Thursday at 7:45 p.m.
The cost is $6 for adult, $4 for child (grade school and below) or $20 for a tournament pass.

Both the boys’ and girls’ tournaments will be held at Crescenta Valley High School, 2900 Community Ave. in La Crescenta.
