Members of the Sunland Woman’s Club donated toys and other goodies to the Foothill station of the LAPD for distribution over the Christmas holidays.     Shown (from left) are Emelda Blowers, Cookie Dapp and Rosalee Stokes. On behalf of the Lions Club, Dapp presented Stokes with a check for $200 in gratitude for the many eyeglasses that the Sunland Woman’s Club has donated. The money in turn was donated to the Foothill LAPD.

An estimated total of $1,000 in toys and cash donations was presented to the Foothill LAPD to purchase items for Christmas baskets that were given to foothill families in need.
