McNevin Named PFAR President
At the PFAR award celebration and board installation ceremony held on Dec. 9 at the Langham Hotel, Ruth S. McNevin was installed as 2012 president. McNevin has been an active realtor in the Pasadena-Foothills area for over 25 years, bringing years of experience to the presidency. She previously served as an officer and on the board of directors for the Foothill Association of Realtors and PFAR. In addition to board service, McNevin has been an active member of most board committees and was honored as 2009 Realtor of the Year for this organization. She serves as a CAR director and will represent the organization at the CAR and NAR meetings.
McNevin has been a resident of the foothills area for almost 50 years. She is an active member of her community serving as an in-service volunteer at Verdugo Hills Hospital for almost 30 years. She has served as chairperson of the Women’s Council of VHH and served the Foundation board in that capacity as well as volunteering for other local organizations.
