Time to Spring Forward
Daylight Saving Time begins Sunday, March 11 at 2 a.m. Clocks need to be moved forward one hour. Homeowners might want to take this time to also change batteries in fire, smoke and carbon monoxide alarms.

Pancake Breakfast to Benefit Memorial
A pancake breakfast is being held on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Rosemont Middle School to benefit the Two Strike Memorial Wall.

Tickets are $5 and available at the office of the Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce, the CV Weekly and Crescenta Valley High School.

Land Use Meeting
The Crescenta Valley Town Council Land Use Meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. tonight. On the agenda is a property at 2446 Cross St. in La Crescenta. The owners have proposed to create one parcel with three detached condominium units on the 0.6 gross acres. An Oak Tree permit no. 201100046 has been proposed for the removal on one oak tree associated with the project.

The meeting will be held at the La Crescenta Library Community Room, 2809 Foothill Blvd., La Crescenta.
