Montrose Search and Rescue Team is hosting a recruitment night on March 28 at 7:30 p.m. at the Crescenta Valley Sheriff Station.  The team is looking for men and women who enjoy the outdoors, teamwork, and a physical challenge.

The team is a detail of L..A County Sheriff Department which requires academy training, EMT training and mountain rescue training.  The team is ready to respond to virtually any wilderness emergency whether it is for a lost or injured hiker, skier or rock climber. Members come from all walks of life but share a common bond: the sense of satisfaction felt when the team returns a lost hiker to their family or provides necessary medical assistance to an injured biker.

Interested parties are invited on Wednesday, March 28 at 7:30 p.m. at CV Station, 4554 Briggs Ave., La Crescenta.
