Two Strike Memorial Benefits from Fundraiser

Pancakes were flipping and coffee brewing on Saturday as hundreds of community members showed their support for the Two Strike Park Memorial.

According to the fundraiser’s organizer Lynn McGinnis, 527 tickets were sold with over $3,000 raised. An additional $1,000 was raised in donations on Saturday.

The Two Strike Park Memorial committee is raising funds to help build a memorial at the park to honor all those who have died while serving in the military. The committee needs to raise a total of $75,000 for the memorial.

The next fundraiser is a 5K Run at Crescenta Valley Park on April 21.
