1500 block of Descanso Drive in La Cañada Flintridge, a digital camera and lens were stolen from a locked vehicle overnight.


March 18
4400 of Oak Grove Drive in La Cañada, credit cards were stolen from an unlocked vehicle reported at 2:30 p.m.

4700 block of Vineta Avenue in La Cañada, golf clubs were stolen from the trunk and the driver’s side window of a vehicle was shattered overnight.

4700 block of Oakwood Avenue in La Cañada, a mailbox was stolen from its post in front of the location between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.

5100 block of Castel Road in La Cañada, a 1995 silver trailer was stolen from in front of the location between March 3 and 17.


March 17
5000 block of Angeles Crest Highway in La Cañada, over $10,000 worth of power and construction tools from a home under construction. The incident occurred overnight.


March 16
5600 block of Bramblewood Road in La Cañada, the rear passenger seat was stolen from a vehicle overnight.

2100 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a lunch was stolen from the front seat of a vehicle and the front passenger side window was shattered between 3:30 p.m. and 3:50 p.m.


March 15
Sport Chalet Drive in La Cañada, a 36-year-old Altadena man was arrested after he allegedly stole a bat priced at over $200 from Sport Chalet. Witnesses reported seeing the suspect, later identified as the Altadena man, running from the sports store. A store employee ran after the man. At one point the suspect reportedly raised his hands, took the alleged stolen bat from the waistband of his pants and put it on the ground. He then ran toward Town Center Drive. A witness reported the suspect entered a blue Ford Taurus and drove out of view. Deputies were able to find the vehicle and the suspect on Angeles Crest Highway just north of Foothill Boulevard. He was arrested at 5:45 p.m.

1900 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a cellphone and wallet were stolen from a locked vehicle parked in the Crescenta Cañada YMCA parking lot. A witness reported seeing a man described as black, 30 to 35 years old, exit the vehicle and get into an early 2000 red, four-door, Toyota Corolla. The incident occurred between 8:05 a.m. and 9:20 a.m.


March 14
2600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, about 47 cans of Red Bull energy drink was stolen from Ralphs Market. According to witnesses, the man was described as Armenian in his mid-20s, 5’8” tall, weighing 175 pounds with black hair. At the time of the incident he was wearing a black baseball cap with a white logo,  a white shirt with an unknown logo on the back and blue jeans. A witness reported seeing the suspect pushing a cart full of cases of Red Bull past the cash register without attempting to pay for the items. He reportedly loaded the cans of energy drink into a vehicle described as a silver, four-door Lexus SUV with yellow paper plates. The suspect got into the passenger side of the vehicle. There was not a clear description of the driver.

They drove off through the parking lot and out of sight. The incident occurred at 1:45 p.m.
