Glendale police are reporting several cases of vandalism in the past 30 days. The incidents include windows that have been broken or shattered by what appears to be someone shooting a BB gun or using rocks or bricks.
Ten incidents have been reported including two homes that had windows damaged, but the majority of the cases involve vehicles.
One witness who was sitting in his vehicle in the area of Dunsmore Avenue and Fifth Street reported seeing three male white juvenilles pull up next to the witness’ vehicle. A boy threw a rock, broke a window and they all fled in a light red Toyota Tercel, possibly a two-door, according to Lt. Scott Bickle.
The witness gave chase but lost the suspects.
Anyone who may have information about this crime or is a victim of vandalism is asked to contact the Glendale Police Department at (818) 548-4840 or Crime Stoppers (818) 507-7867.
