At about 7:10 p.m.  this evening a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s bus transporting inmates  pulled over to  the emergency lane of the Glendale (2) freeway southbound near the Mountain Street exit due to an inmate with a medical issue, said Sgt. Hanson.

Deputies and emergency personnel are assisting the ill inmate, and providing security.
