On Sunday, March 18, the 28th Annual KAHAM Games came to an end with La Crescenta’s Chamlian Armenian School placing first among 13 participating Armenian schools in basketball, table tennis, track and field, chess, and second in volleyball and soccer.

Coach Irene Nikoghossian and Coach Vasag Sherbetdjian oversee Chamlian’s physical education and sports program. Various sports teams were coached by Chamlian alumni and parents after school for weeks leading up to the KAHAM Games. The dedication of coaches, athletes, and parents resulted in many Chamlian victories.

“We’re so proud of our athletes and our coaches,” said Principal Vazken Madenlian. “We also appreciate the patience and support of our parents who have attended the games and cheered for our teams.”
