As a community service to all the Baby Boomers coming into the Medicare system and for those seniors already on Medicare, Verdugo Hills Hospital (VHH) will be providing a free Medicare educational seminar, “Turning 65.” The seminar will be held on Wednesday, April 18 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the hospital’s Council Room, located on the fourth floor lobby.
The seminar will help new Medicare patients with their questions about benefits and types of health plans available to them. Various topics will be discussed including the basics of Medicare, prescription drug plans, Medicare Advantage plans and Medicare Supplement plans.
The event is for educational purposes only and no plan-specific benefits or details will be discussed. Refreshments will be served.
