RBAC to Host Pre-Olympic Game

On Friday, June 1 at 5:30 p.m. the U.S. Men’s Olympic water polo team will go head-to-head against the Croatian Men’s Olympic water polo team in an exhibition game. This will be the final game before the two teams, which are regarded as gold medal contenders, leave for London and the Olympics. Sponsorships are now available for those who would like to attend the event, which includes the game and a gala dinner following poolside with the Olympians.

“We are honored to host this game and to celebrate some of our nation’s finest athletes who have made significant sacrifices and a tremendous commitment to represent the United States,” said Kurt Knop, executive director of the Rose Bowl Aquatics Center. “We hope everyone will save the date and share in this experience as we send our athletes off with our very best wishes for the performance of a lifetime.”

Following the exhibition game, guests will have an “up close and personal” opportunity to meet and greet with the Olympians from both countries. Olympians will join guests dining at the gala dinner that will take place poolside and feature gourmet fare complete with innovative dishes representing the colors and excitement of the Olympics, prepared by Onil Chibas Catering (formally Elements Kitchen of Pasadena).

This is the fourth time the Rose Bowl Aquatics Center has been selected to host pre-Olympic events.
