Businesses Bloom in Montrose

If you haven’t been down to Montrose lately, this is the weekend to come by. A new children’s clothing store has opened up at 2317 ‘B’ Honolulu Ave. right next to Revelation Tops. Plan to drop by and say hi to Gigi the owner and see her place and all that her store has to offer.

If you haven’t been to the new Paper Rabbit location on Ocean View you should drop by there. They still offer all the great things that they are known for just in a different location. They are just north from Froyo Life at 3817½ Ocean View Blvd.

Shoe Fantasy recently moved around the corner from its old location to 3701 Ocean View Blvd. inside the Montrose Shopping Park. You should also stop by here because they changed the type of shoes that they carry. They moved away from a family shoe store and are now carrying trendy, fashionable shoes aimed at teenagers. Did I hear someone say, “Prom?”

Although not open yet, there will be a new yoga studio in town called Yoga Rocks. They will be having a grand opening on Friday, June 1 and will offer free classes all day! Make sure you take advantage of that.

Just a little farther is a business you may or may not have heard of, but should know about. Nature’s Treasures at 3200 La Crescenta Ave. is your natural health resource. They focus on enhancing your health at the cellular level by taking prevention to even greater lengths with support and education. To find out more about their services stop by and see them.

When you come to Montrose this Saturday to visit these new businesses you can also enjoy our first Artwalk of the year! Various artists will be displaying and selling their unique creations as beautiful music plays in the background. All of our stores and restaurants will be open for business for you to patronize.

Remember to shop local. When you shop local you are supporting locals, who hire locals and spend money at other local businesses. Spending your money in local, independently owned stores keeps your money in the local area and helps boost the local economy!

Don’t Forget: For only $99 you can become a Chamber member or renew an outdated membership. Becoming a member ensures your business listing in our 2012-13 directory and a listing in our online digital directory. The Directory is a great resource that is used by many people in the community.
