Glendale Adventist Medical Center and the Crescenta-Cañada YMCA will present a morning of health education lectures and free blood pressure and spine checks today, Thursday, June 7 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. This “Live & Learn” event is free and open to the public and will be held at the YMCA, 1930 Foothill Blvd. La Cañada.
Participants can attend one or both of the following lectures:
9 a.m. – Glendale Adventist’s STEMI Center: Why it’s Critical to You and Your Heart. Presented by Arsen Hovanesyan, MD, cardiologist.
10 a.m. – How Heart Healthy Are You? Prevention, nutrition and using the latest data to help prevent heart disease. Presented by Dmitriy Gen, MD, family practice.
